Can anyone actually justify the NH-D15 G2 at $150 over cheap dual towers?

Been watching the D15 G2 for a quiet build since about February, holding out for a price drop that just never showed up. Still sitting at $150. Every review I read calls it the best air cooler Noctua has ever made and then spends a paragraph questioning what you actually pay for. So I want to hear it from people who own one or shop on value. Can anyone honestly justify it over the cheap dual towers?

Reviews are unanimous. It genuinely beats the old D15 by up to around 3C, so it's a real improvement. But at $150 it makes no sense when the FROZN A620 PRO SE, Phantom Spirit 120 EVO or Peerless Assassin land in the same class for far less. You're paying for acoustics, build quality and warranty, which only a few buyers actually need.
