I have run a 7950X3D for two years and the one thing that never fully went away is the scheduling dance to keep game threads on the cached CCD. The Dual Edition puts V-Cache on both CCDs, which removes that problem entirely. That is genuinely interesting to me. The catch is $899 and a 200W TDP...
