Resizable BAR toggle missing from my BIOS, do I need an update?

just put in my new arc b570 and went hunting for the resizable bar toggle after reading it actually matters for performance. thing is the option isnt anywhere in my bios menu, i've been through every tab. so is this a case where i need a bios update to unlock it, or does my board just not support rebar at all

check your boot mode first. on Legacy/CSM the ReBAR option won't show up, hardware or not, so flip to UEFI and look again (that was exactly it on my B570 Odyssey). if it's still missing after that, your BIOS predates support and the update is needed, board, card and driver have to line up together

From what I read you don't want to chase every BIOS release, just update when one addresses something. Once ReBAR works you can leave it alone. Is the board still on its launch BIOS?
