Wait for the RTX 50 Super refresh or just buy now?

My 4070 Super is starting to feel a bit stretched in some of the newer titles at my monitor's settings. I keep seeing people say the Super refresh is right around the corner, then the next thread says it's dead in the water. I dont know what to believe anymore. Is holding out actually realistic here or should I just buy something current gen and move on?

The signals contradict. Some called it delayed indefinitely after the CES no-show, others say it's not cancelled but partners lack final specs. Then in July unannounced Super models appeared in Seasonic's wattage calculator, the 5080 Super at 415W with 24GB. So upgrade now only if your card limits you today. The 5070 and 5080 sit around MSRP as of last month, so waiting mostly means waiting for a sale.

honestly my gut says it IS coming, the chatter just feels too loud to be nothing. I'd hold out a bit longer personally
