Help, my new Gen5 drive starts a transfer fast then keeps slowing down

Got a Platinum P51 2TB a while back, love how it looks in the build. Something is bugging me though. When I move a few hundred GB at once it starts at silly speeds then just steps down, and down, until it is crawling by the end. No errors, nothing in the logs, still mounts and boots fine. I have...
